What’s up! My name is Dorian, Founder of Rooted Aspect. As a little black girl, I knew I was different. I always stood out amongst my peers, so much so I was bullied and faced many challenges because of this. Through it all, I always found happiness in various forms of art and this is where I found freedom and da tribe!

Rooted Aspect was created to pay homage to the creative beauty birthed from black people and culture. I’m in love with the many different ways we as black people express ourselves. We are magical!

Rooted Aspect is a T-shirt and lifestyle brand. Our mission is to stay rooted in everything that uplifts ourselves and our community in every aspect. We are here as a reminder through our struggles to keep embracing our unique selves, our blackness and our culture unapologetically!
